NOTAM

NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) is a message system used in aviation to disseminate important information to pilots, air traffic control units, and other aviation personnel. It is issued by aviation authorities to enhance aviation safety and share operational information.

NOTAMs may include information such as the operational status of airports, closure of runways, wind speed and direction, maintenance status of radio navigation aids, obstacles or hazards at airports, and other relevant details. This information is used to ensure pilots' safe flight operations and to influence operational decisions of aviation personnel.

One of the important parts of airport management is NOTAM management. At some airports, NOTAMs are published by the airport authority, while at some airports, a request for NOTAMs is made by the authority to the Aviation Information Services unit. In cases where NOTAM requests are made by the airport authority, manual forms or computer systems can be used. With Aviativerse NOTAM module, you can have the opportunity to request/publish all NOTAMs related to your airport very quickly and accurately.
